EFI GAZI ON THE CENTRE FOR ASIA MINOR STUDIES

Ιn the 1950s and 1960s, the Centre of Asia Minor Studies collected testimonies from more than 5,000 Asia Minor Ottoman Greek refugees. Dr Efi Gazi explains how central these archives are to understanding The Catastrophe as part of the Greek national narrative, but also explains what would have been done differently today.
